Carol P. McPatrick Scholarship
The Board of the Greater Miami Chapter of NIGP (GMC) has established the Carol P. McPatrick Scholarship in honor of the contributions that she made to GMC and the procurement profession during her lifetime.
The scholarship will provide financial assistance up to $500 to cover procurement training and educational opportunities for a procurement professional.
ELIGIBILITY
To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a GMC member in good standing;
- Submit the scholarship application on or before the deadline of February 27, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. with the following supporting documents:

- An essay that describes your experience as a procurement professional, your involvement with GMC, and how the scholarship will benefit you professionally;
- A copy of your current resume; and
- A recommendation letter from your manager or director who is familiar with your work. This should be on the organization’s letter head.
SUBMISSION INFORMATION
Applicants must follow all guidelines and instructions to be eligible for the scholarship. Scholarship applications with all required documents must be received by February 27, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Failure to complete the application and submit the required documents shall result in non-consideration of your submittal.
Notification of scholarship will be made by Procurement Month - March 2026.
