Procurement Month Award Nomination
March is celebrated worldwide as Procurement Month, a time to honor procurement professionals – the unsung heroes of public service.
In observation of Procurement Month, at our Procurement Month Event on Thursday, March 20, 2026 at 9 a.m., the Chapter will be recognizing 6 procurement professionals whose performance reflects exceptional contributions to the profession. Please take this opportunity to nominate a procurement professional who truly makes a difference.
We need your nominations by Friday, February 27, 2026 before 5 p.m.
Please see the nomination criteria listed below:
- Undertaking and accomplishing procurement project(s) that result in value for money
- Contributing to professional development by creating a procurement course/program, presenting at a training session or writing a procurement article
- Taking on additional tasks and leadership responsibilities demonstrating the qualities of an emerging leader
- Volunteering for events or activities to serve their community or to provide information to the vendor community
- Motivating and influencing team members and maintaining a work environment that is conducive to productivity and career growth
- Creating innovations that solve procurement challenges and generate efficiencies
